The Geneva drive is a device that can convert continuously into intermittent rotation. There is a pillar on the drive wheel that rotates continuously. It can be extended into the groove of the drive wheel to make it rotate a certain range. There is also a circle on the drive wheel. The disk can ensure that each rotation of the drive wheel is in a proper position. The Geneva driver can be applied to film screenings, mechanical watches, drawing machines, automatic sampling devices, money -order machines, and so on. Inkscape is a cross -platform vector drawing software that can be used on Windows, Linux and Mac. The current support file formats include SVG, SVGZ, PDF, AI, JPEG, PNG, GIF, etc. Formats include PS, EPS, DIA, XFig, Sketch, CorelDraw, CGM, SK1. Since Inkscape is free software and is easy to learn and use, it is widely used in laser cutting in the maker community. This study introduces how to use Inkscape's vector graphics to edit software to carry out the practical design and production of the Geneva drive. It is expected that teachers who participate in the study will be applied to the production of teaching aids in the future.
