Event Date | 2022/12/02 Address | Keelung

National Taiwan Ocean University will hold a physics exploration workshop in keelung on /02. This event is funded by the National Science and Technology Commission. Professor Zhou Xiangshun from the Department of Photonics at NTOU and teacher Xiao Rutang from the National Education Institute will lead the students to make handheld spectrometers, wall-penetrating devices, and double-cone roller physics teaching aids, and explore their principles. The teaching team will use entertaining methods to guide students to explore the wonders of physics, implementing the core spirit of the 108 curriculum \competency-based curriculum design.\

National Taiwan Ocean University held a physical demonstration and inquiry implementation activities at the Keelung Women's Middle School on December 2. The event was subsidized by the National Science and Technical Committee. Professor Zhou Xiangshun of the Department of Optoelectronics, Hai Da Optoelectronics uses various interesting demonstration experiments to present physical principles vividly in front of students. Physics is about the "reason" of "things". Traditional teaching skipts physical observations directly in the abstract language to narrate physical principles, and has made a matter of reason. Students who are not used to abstract thinking are not easy to build physical concepts through traditional teaching methods. Demonstration of teaching borrowing things, using the demonstration experiments with sound light effect allows students to observe physical phenomena, and then help students observe the specific theory of observation chain as abstract. Professor Zhou Xiangshun also led the students to roll the wheel on the two cone and explore the principle. The activity guided students to take a glimpse of physics in the way of entertainment and enhance the core spirit of the 108 class "literacy orientation curriculum design". This activity also cooperated with the National Science Council science popularization activities to cultivate female scientists' goals.
