National Taiwan Ocean University and Keelung Home-Based Care Center held a science camp for elementary school students on October 15th. This event was funded by the National Science and Technology Council. The teaching team from the university led the children to make interesting science teaching aids such as magnetic guns, wall-penetrating devices, and polarizing film painting. This activity promotes equal educational opportunities for all, allowing disadvantaged students to bring hope home with knowledge.

With the subsidy of the National Science and Technology Commission, the Hai University Science Popular Teaching Team has held 101 physical demonstrations and inquiry and implementation activities. We also participated in three scientific markets and published two innovative teaching aids in the popular science corner. The media reported our activities 48 times. In addition, we have produced 123 physical demonstration teaching films and placed on the website of the Ministry of Science and Technology Grand View Park and YouTube, and more than 1.8 million people are watching. Our film was included in the learning materials by civil servants and other civil servants, and was awarded preferred curriculum awards by the Taiwan Open Course Alliance. On October 15, 111, we held a scientific camp for the student children at the Ruifang Service Office of the Keelung Family Support Center. We lead school children to make magnetic guns, wearing walls into the room, painted polarizers and other scientific toys. Students have a deep understanding of scientific principles through hands -on implementation. This activity promotes the equal education opportunities of the rich and the poor, allowing vulnerable students to bring their hopes to go home with their knowledge.
