Hands-on Science and Remote Islands and Rural Area Popular Science Promotion for Junior High School and Elementary Students of Taitung County

Through scientific hands-on activities such as sound, light and fluid, students can understand that \science is not just a subject, but can be applied in life\ and promote this concept to students. Let students no longer be afraid of superior science, and in turn can properly use the scientific knowledge they have learned to solve problems in life, let school children understand the fun of science, and let them immerse themselves in science.

Today, on December 22nd, I went to Dawu Elementary School to participate in the 111st Taitung County Science Expo and outlying island science popularization promotion plan. The main experimental items include sound, optics and balance. What happened, then demonstrated some experiments related to sound, such as: the water pipe of the washing machine to move the air flow to generate sound, sound snake and resonance sound ... and so on. In addition to the sound of the sound, the sound can also be crushed to toilet paper at the water pipe entrance. This can also allow students to observe which port of the air pipe is entered from the water pipe. The balanced part makes it difficult for children to operate alone. We ask them to discuss how to stand 13 iron nails on 1 upright iron nails. In this way, everyone can understand the importance of teamwork and the interesting of the balance. In addition Let the classmates cut the paper into a balanced bird that can maintain balance in their hands and try to put the three magnets into a balanced form. Finally, let everyone know that we are on the ruler with the Fresnel lens and rainbow tablets. Commonly enlarged this principle than originally used this principle. The students and teachers of this activity actively participated in the experiments and learned about these experiments that are interesting and mysterious.
