Outcomes Presentation of Curriculum Development for the Issue of Science Education

This paper introduces the curriculum development regarding the integration of Basic Science education issue and takes the conception of sustainable development as an example. In addition to the literature review of curriculum development and sustainable development, a fundamental principle of curriculum development regarding the integration of Basic Science education issue is proposed and demonstrated. The principle includes 4 steps: “Why to teach?”, “What to teach?”, “How to teach?”, and “How to evaluate?” Procedures of curriculum development of infusing Basic Science education into school curricula are suggested: understanding of the rational and theories of Basic Science education, analyzing the core competences of the 12-year Basic Education, connecting to the learning contents and performances of learning areas, and applying teaching strategies of Basic Science education.

Faced with many new challenges of the 21st century, in order to enhance teachers' knowledge of the integration of sustainable issues into classroom teaching, the National Education Department's general high -level secondary school curriculum promotes the working circle IYBSSD sustainable curriculum development design workshop, and on January 10, 112 The day -to -day holiday New Taipei High School completed the relevant [issues of the issues of the issue of permanent curriculum in the permanent curriculum], and invited ordinary high -level secondary schools/resource centers to study teachers and seed teachers to participate in the study.nThis workshop invites Professor Qiu Meihong of National Taiwan Normal University to share the topic with the title of "Basic Science Promoting Sustainable Development International Year", and guide the participating teachers to reflect on the cross -collating nature of the province. In addition, what other emerging issues are worthy of led students to explore together.nAfter the topic sharing, a number of on -site teachers were further invited to share their practical experience in integrating sustainable issues into teaching. After the brilliant practical experience sharing, Professor Qiu Meihong led the participants to discuss what basic science in the society promoted sustainable issues, and how to explore these sustainable development issues in different disciplines. Many teachers participating in the conference have given them a deeper understanding of the issue of the issue of the issue. I hope that the work circle will continue to handle relevant studies in the future.n
