The 112th Yilan County Science Day
To provide opportunities for the public and students in the Lanyang area to learn about science through science popularization games, National Yilan University, in cooperation with the Education Department of Yilan County, the Natural Science Field Assistance Team, and various primary and secondary schools in the county, will host the \Yilan County Science Day\. This year's opening ceremony will be held at 8:30 am on May 23 at Xuejin Elementary School in Wujie Township, and will be attended by the Yilan County Magistrate, the Director of the Education Department, the President of National Yilan University, the Wujie Township Mayor, the Xuejin Elementary School Principal, and the Director of the Nanotechnology Center of National Yilan University.The Yilan County Science Day project is led by Professor Chen Hui-Huang, a lifetime distinguished professor at National Yilan University's Nanotechnology Center, and a science popularization and education promotion team. Junior high and elementary school teachers and National Yilan University students are trained as seed teachers, who then guide graduates (or senior students) in science games and prepare game levels to cultivate students' active learning of science knowledge, while also allowing students and the public participating in science popularization games to become familiar with and close to science. National Yilan University hopes to promote science popularization education in the Lanyang area through events such as the Yilan County Science Day and fulfill its social responsibility as a university.This year's Yilan County Science Day will be organized by 18 primary schools, including Samsung, Yuanshan, and Zhonghua Junior High Schools, as well as Xuejin, Beicheng, Guangfu, Yueming, Zhongxing, Lize, Yuying, Zhulin, Lixing, Sanmin, Nanping, Kaixuan, Liming, Gongzheng, Dongxing, Shunan, Tongle, and Yongle Elementary Schools.

In order to provide the common sense of science in the Lanyang area to provide people and students from the Lanyang region, they cooperate with the Yilan County Government Education Office, the tutoring group in the natural sciences, and the middle and small countries in the county. This year's opening ceremony was held in the Elementary School on May 23. The deputy principal of Yilan University, the Chief of the Yilan County Education Department and the principal of the Xuejin Elementary School jointly kicked off the "Popular Science Day" of Yilan County.nChen Huiqiu, a lifelong special professor of the University of Yilan University of Science and Technology, led the science popularization education promotion team to train the students and the students of Yilan University as a seed teacher.
