nThe theme of this meeting is the blue carbon ecosystem and its importance. The agenda covers the importance of blue carbon in the climate and marine policy. The ecosystem services provided by the blue carbon ecosystem, such as biological diversity support, biological support, carbon absorption, and climate adjustment. At the same time, it also discussed the role of blue carbon in the climate policy and the dilemma faced by blue carbon, and emphasized the importance of strengthening the function of strengthening natural resource management, biodiversity conservation and carbon exchange. The meeting may also discuss the responsibility of the government in promoting greenhouse gas emission reduction and response to climate change, as well as the current situation of marine conservation laws and marine reserves. In addition, the meeting also mentioned the difficulty of incorporating blue carbon into the greenhouse gas management fund and strategy, and the need to strengthen the participation of relevant departments in marine policies. The meeting may also explore the consistency of blue carbon and national biological diversity policies, as well as related issues to expand and manage the marine protection zone. At the same time, the lag of the formulation of marine conservation laws, and possible restrictions on the reserves of the protected area only from the perspective of carbon management.
