The increasing ocean temperature is affecting marine species and ecosystems globally, and there is an urgent need to build artificial structures or nurseries that can serve as habitats for organisms, as well as facilitate the resilience of species and ecosystems to warmer temperatures. Delta Electronics Foundation has been devoted to coral restoration with scientists since 2021. Its main goal is to help heat-tolerant coral communities thrive under temperature disruption. The talk will elaborate on the motive and process of how a corporate foundation gets involved in the restoration, as well as the necessity and achievement to co-work with scientists.

The importance of cooperation: The speech emphasizes the importance of cooperation between private sector and scientists in coral repair and biological diversity conservation. It emphasizes the private sector, such as the Taida Electronics Foundation, and realize the challenge of scientific professional knowledge and cooperation to effective in the decline of coral reefs and the loss of biodiversity.

Global biological diversity conservation goals: The speech mentioned the global biological diversity conservation target set by Montreal's global biological diversity framework. These goals include protecting land and marine areas, gradually canceling harmful subsidies, mobilizing financial resources, and encouraging enterprises to monitor and disclose the impact of biodiversity. The speech urged the private sector to consume its actions with these goals and work hard to contribute to biodiversity conservation.

The threat facing coral reefs: The speech emphasizes the challenges faced by global coral reefs, including the impact of the area of ??coral reefs 50%and the increase in the sea surface in the past century. The speech emphasized that coral repair needs to reduce the impact of climate change and protect the coral reef ecosystem.nCoral repair method: The speech discussed the coral repair method used by the Delta Electronics Foundation, such as coral gardening and seedlings. The speech explained the process of dividing and cultivating corals in the nursery before the ocean reserves, and then transplanted back. The speech also introduced the way to promote coral growth using LED lighting and product solutions.
