On October 20th, 2022 (Thursday) from 2pm to 4pm, the topic will cover:
\International Year of Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development - Taiwan Series Activities\
\The historical development of geomagnetic measurement and hands-on applications.\
Speakers:
Professor Chiu Mei-Hung from the Institute of Science Education at National Taiwan Normal University and the IYBSSD@Taiwan team
Professor Yang Chung-Chun from the Department of Physics at National Central University

Result

Due to the epidemic factors, the National Education Counseling Regiment of Nanmen Junior High School and the Education Bureau of the North City actively arranged and temporarily changed to the IYBSSDXTW Teacher Pei Li Workshop attending online. The opportunity for cooperation and collaboration, and under the teaching of Professor Qiu Meihong, has a deeper understanding of the task of promoting IYBSSD and the importance of future promotion, and with Professor Yang Zhongzhun's in -depth geomagnetic test history explanation and the development and demonstration of practical activities Teachers have a more updated direction for the design of future popular science activities.

After the meeting, many resources that seed teachers can use in the future, and provide relevant activities design links and the webpage of international national movements participating in the response of geomagnetic quantity testing, hoping that there are more teachers who want to learn more about international science popularization activities. Can be shared and extended. Due to enthusiastic response, there will be more related study and activities in the future. I hope that there will be more interaction and collaboration in the design and exchanges of activities, and I look forward to the next activity of the next event.
