Periodic Table Island Tour 2.0

Following the 150th anniversary of Mendeleev's discovery of the periodic table of elements in 2019, the United Nations designated 2019 as the "International Year of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements" and designed the "International Year of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements" special exhibition. 

Subsidized by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National and Preschool Education Department of the Ministry of Education, and the Bureau of Toxic and Chemical Substances of the Environmental Protection Administration of the Executive Yuan, the exhibitions have been completed in the Science and Education Museum, Science Museum, Science and Technology Museum, Marine Science Museum and other educational units.  

In order to further enhance the scientific literacy of the whole people, popularize the scientific knowledge of the periodic table of chemical elements, and expand the educational function of the exhibition, Taiwan Normal University and the Chinese Chemical Society specially organized the "Tour of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements Around the Island". 

Make the periodic table of chemical elements not only exist in the classroom, but go deep into your and my life. In 2020, the exhibition has been exhibited in 43 schools across Taiwan, benefiting a total of more than 20,000 people; in 2021, 38 schools have completed the loan exhibition, which will continue until the end of 2022.
