You'll definitely find clam soup on the menu of small eateries, and night markets across the country serve oyster noodles and oyster omelets. Yunlin County is the largest producer of clams in Taiwan, with approximately 3 out of every 5 clams coming from there. Besides clams, Yunlin County is also a major supplier of oyster seedlings in Taiwan. Do you really know about these familiar seafood delicacies? Let Professor Li Mengfang guide us to explore the biology of clams and oysters.
